COMMUNITY TREE PLANTING DAY
With BioR at Frahns Farm
Join us in Monarto for a Tree Planting Festival at Frahns Farm on Saturday the 26th June. You’ll connect with fellow community members and get your hands dirty while you make a direct positive impact to this planet we live on.
Frahns Farm was established in 2015 and sits on 550 hectares of land near Monarto. The farm was founded by Bio·R, a grassroots charity that generates funds, knowledge and practical skills to reconstruct habitats to support native wildlife in degraded landscapes. Frahns Farm aims to regenerate habitat for declining woodland bird species and increase the woodland coverage in this area from 10% to 30%.
This is your chance to help put trees in the ground and be an active part of the climate and habitat solution!
Transport and Food
The good people at BioR are feeding us lunch for our efforts. All vegetarian, please email us if you have allergies or other dietaries to take care of.
And, we’re organising a hire bus to take us there and back safely. It’ll be more fun together and it lessens our carbon footprint. Tickets are $25 per person to cover the costs of the bus hire. Meet at the studio Saturday morning at 7:30am for a 7:45 sharp departure.
If you would like to drive yourself, or stay for their Shoots & Roots Camping and Music Festival later that day then please book directly with Frahns Farm via Eventbrite.

This event is an extension of our work around being “healthy humans for a healthy planet”, where the steadiness, strength and generosity that we cultivate through our personal practice overflows to kind actions to others and our home on earth.
Our Intelligent Living program has a focus on climate action in all forms. And Ripple Effect, our monthly community philanthropy group, has funded a music and camping festival for those that want to stay on overnight at Frahns Farm after the planting festival on June 26.
