Dynamic Landscapes: A 30hr Advanced Sequencing Training
Introduction
As yoga teachers, we are storytellers. We create plot lines that weave through postures and philosophies, transitions and themes, valleys and peaks. Constructing and navigating these stories with grace, ease, rhythm and clarity is one of the cornerstones of a strong vinyasa yoga teacher.
In this training, we will learn the skills to create sequences that are progressive, safe, innovative, and intuitive. This 4 day training will include long practices to give you first hand experience of several sequencing styles. Each practice will be followed by a lecture and discussion breaking down the sequence style, the why’s behind the choices that were made and how they are influenced by bigger sequencing philosophies. Building off of these discussions, the afternoon sessions will be full of creation, questioning, testing and troubleshooting so that you will leave the training with the confidence to create your own powerful classes and postural storylines.
Asana Practices
